Course descriptor for the In Safe Hands Level 2 course

Have you attended an In Safe Hands Level 1 workshop ?  If the answers are yes then In Safe Hands Level 2 is for you.  The workshop has been designed to develop the skills of those responsible for managing the policies and procedures that contribute to the safeguarding of children in sports clubs.  It looks at the recruitment process, responding to concerns, managing a disciplinary process and making a referral to Disclosure Scotland.  The emphasis of the workshop is on discussion and skills practice and uses exercises and scenarios to explore each topic in detail.  This is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge, and develop your skills, in safeguarding for the benefit of the children, young people and adults involved in your club.
