JKS Scotland
Disability Karate Class
Tuesday 26th March 2013
All of the students in this class and others not in attendance today are in the process of working towards the ASDAN Bronze youth achievement award which is a nationally accredited qualification. Through regular committed training on a weekly basis they will attempt a kyu grading examination on Tuesday 18th June 2013 whereby all successful students will advance to a different level of belt colour. After this event the guys will be training to participate at the JKS Scotland national karate championships being held on Sunday 20th October at the Grangemouth sports complex. This championship will be attended by over 500 students and is our showcase event of the year. This programme has proven to be a remarkable success story, the level of commitment and consistent training over the past 18 months has been incredible and we look forward to continuing to develop the guys. We would like to thank the big lottery fund for their kindness and support toward our project.
