SKGB Refereeing Program
Karate Officials Training Course   Kumite

Dear colleagues,

In line with our development program I can now confirm that the next Kumite course will be held on 26^th November 2006 at the SKGB National Championships. Details of the Championships can be found on the SKGB website.

Doug James 7th Dan and “World Karate Federation” Qualified Karate Official will present the course. This will be a Practical based course and officials who are eligible will be considered for promotion.

Course Times coincide with the event times. Refreshment will be provided.

This course is open to all officials who hold a Karate License of an association affiliated to the SKGB regardless of their Officials Qualification.

Officials are asked to bring their SKGB Karate Officials Record Books, which are of course now mandatory. New officials will be able to apply for a Record Book on the day.

Officials Uniform is required.

No theory exam will be included in the course contents.
