Karate Officials Training Course (Kata)
The following course has been arranged by the SKGB Refereeing Commission as part of the Commissions Development program for 2007/08. To this end an invitation is extended to Karate Officials who currently hold a qualification as an Association Kata Judge or Kata Judge at national level to attend a development/practical assessment.Dates:
The course will be held on Saturday 23rd February 2008. 1000hrs until 1600hrsVenue:
The venue for the course is within the Holiday Inn Glasgow AirportExamination:
Practical assessment along with official’s development will be assessed by Terry Pottage 7th Dan WKF Official. There will be a written exam as part of this course available to those officials who require the exam to further their refereeing qualification.Officials should attend in full WKF uniform and have with them their SKGB “Karate Officials Record Books”. Officials will also require to bring a Karate Gi to take part in the practical aspect of the training.
Refreshment:Lunch will be provided at the event.
